Taking a break

We returned to the UK exactly one year after we had left, and over the next few weeks spent time seeing our families and friends, taking care of some "admin" and doing groundwork for a move away from London. And we met Woody, Stef's eight month old nephew, for the first time, amazed at how fast he had grown.

It felt strange to be in this odd limbo. We were "back", yet not quite as we were still in our backpacks and wearing our travel gear, and our lifestyle was still one of moving on every couple of days. And in a way we were saying goodbye to our former home as we made preparations to move to a new place, wherever that was going to be!
